Archives and evidence packs

Choose an export based on what you need to keep or share.

Records CSV

Use Import / export > Export for supported structured record fields in a spreadsheet. This is useful for reviewing or moving tabular information. A CSV does not include all document bytes, individual renewal snapshots or the complete retained change trail.

Full archive

Use Import / export > Full archive to download a consistent snapshot of available workspace data with document files and integrity information. The archive includes retained dates, renewal evidence and history, as available. Contact identities and record assignments are included; private consent tokens and mail queue payloads are excluded.

“Full archive” is a download. It does not move records into an archived state or remove them from the dashboard.

Store the download securely: it can contain workspace records and private files. The integrity manifest helps check that exported files match the archive metadata.

Record evidence pack

Open a record and expand Renewal cycles & evidence, then choose Download record evidence pack. This focuses on one record's dates, retained attachments, renewal cycles, responsibility and retained delivery/change trail.

A renewal cycle can show its previous date, new date, time and whether it was manual or automatic, together with the captured record context. Replaced documents remain available while their files are retained.

Retention and restoration limits

Change history is retained for 365 days, including after record deletion. Deleting a workspace removes its history. An old event describing a file does not restore bytes that were later deleted.

A full archive is not a one-click self-service restoration tool. Keep the original archive intact if you need support with recovery. Do not assume re-importing a CSV recreates every relationship, document or historical event.
