Terms of Service

The service

Lapsewise is a tool for tracking renewal and expiry dates, storing related documents, and sending reminders. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Lapsewise.
• If you add other users to your workspace, you are responsible for their use of the service and for having a lawful basis to store any personal data about them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful or harmful.
• Upload content you do not have the right to store, or that infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the security or integrity of the service.
• Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted.

Your content

You retain all rights to the records and documents you store. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content in order to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train models.

Reminders

Lapsewise helps you keep track of important dates, but reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for meeting your own deadlines and obligations. We are not liable for a missed date, whether due to incorrect data, a delivery failure, or any other cause.

Plans and billing

• The free plan is offered as-is. Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of first payment.
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

Availability

We work to keep Lapsewise available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance and may suspend access where necessary to protect the service or other users.

Termination

You may stop using Lapsewise and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
